Running Events

We’re proud to support our employees’ participation in regional running events, from the Freiburg Marathon and the local B2Run event. By doing so, we encourage an active lifestyle, inspire regular training and raise awareness for proactively maintaining good health. These events also help to strengthen team spirit and provide opportunities for colleagues to use these events to train together or to connect outside their daily work routine, which are both important aspects of our social responsibility.

The Losan Kickers – Our Company Football Team

The Losan Kickers team gives colleagues with a passion for football the opportunity to play together, build team spirit and connect outside their everyday work. The specially designed team shirt, featuring Losan Pharma artwork, reflects how much we value individual interests while bringing people together across departments.

Mountain Bike Events

Our Losan Pharma mountain bikers regularly take part in events such as the Black Forest Ultrabike and the Waldhaus Bike Marathon. With our support, we promote active living, boost motivation and encourage interest in sports. In this way, we bring together experiencing nature, health and a sense of community sustainably.

30 Tage Achtsamkeit

30-Day Mindfulness Campaign

We aim to help colleagues actively integrate health and wellbeing into their everyday lives, both at work and at home. For example, the BGM team (Occupational Health Management) ran the “30 Days of Mindfulness” Campaign that offered daily motivating tips on movement, nutrition and mental wellbeing. To support this, the BGM team (Occupational Health Management) ran the “30 Days of Mindfulness” campaign, offering daily inspiration on movement, nutrition and mental balance.

Special topic weeks such as winter blues, seasonal allergies and heat-related health risks actively address current issues, and also foster a health-conscious sense of togetherness.

03 | Working Together for Environmental Protection

Alpine Forest Project

As part of the Alpine Forest Project in the spring of 2025, our employees teamed up with colleagues from Dr Falk Pharma to plant 650 Norway maples and 150 linden trees on the Schauinsland mountain near Freiburg.
The initiative is a small contribution towards creating diverse and resilient forest ecosystems and a strong example of collaborative, shared purpose.

The joint activity also supported environmental protection and strengthened cooperation across company boundaries.

Clean-up Day

As part of our initiatives for a cleaner environment, employees take part in the global Clean-Up Day at the company sites in Neuenburg am Rhein and Eschbach in Germany.

The joint initiative combines hands-on environmental action with team building and demonstrates that working together not only creates a cleaner environment but also strengthens that important “we” feeling.

Girls‘ Day at Losan Pharma

On Girls’ Day, we open our doors to schoolgirls who want to experience work life inside our pharmaceutical company. The aim is to increase interest in scientific careers, particularly in fields that have traditionally been male-dominated. Through this, we contribute to equal opportunities and support the next generation in the region.

Supporting “Science Mobil”

Losan Pharma supports visits by the “Science Mobil” (a mobile science lab) to local primary schools and makes it possible for 3rd-grade students in Neuenburg am Rhein to learn how much fun chemistry can be.
