In a multi-month strategy process, we developed a comprehensive approach to sustainability at Losan Pharma in 2023 as part of the Falk Group. It provides the framework for sustainability activities across all Falk Group business units and sites, including Losan Pharma.
Our core sustainability strategy includes four strategic action areas with specific targets, a sustainability governance structure, and topic owners for each of the key sustainability issues identified by the Falk Group.
In addition, through this process, the Falk Group expanded its central corporate vision to cover key sustainability topics.
Energy & Ressource Efficiency
Our first action field focuses on protecting climate and resources. We have identified the topic of climate protection as being an area of significance for the Falk Group.
Health & Scientific Progress
The second action field looks at how our business model contributes to global health. Core topics we have identified for the Falk Group in this area are Product Quality & Safety, Research & Development and Transparency & Communication.
Attractive Working Conditions
Our employees are at the heart of our third action field. They are the key not only to the commercial success of the Falk Group, but also to our transformation into a more sustainable corporation. In this third action field we have identified four main topics: Working Conditions, Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities & Diversity, as well as Education & Training.
Business Ethics
The fourth action field forms the basis for our corporate activities and business conduct. Accordingly, we see it as an overarching action field that defines the way in which we operate as a company. We have identified three core topics for the Falk Group: Compliance & Anti-corruption, Corporate Culture & Values, as well as Supply Chain Responsibility.
